Each Friday, Orangewood rounds up the freshest new songs on our playlists. Here are the tracks we love right now, in no particular order.

“Hold On” — Yola

This year's Grammy nomination for "Best New Artist" going to Yola is a little misleading. Yola has spent her career in the music industry, but awe-inspiring solo work has recently broke into the limelight. Her latest single, "Hold On," features some folk legends, but Yola's outstanding presence elevates the entire track. The song "is a conversation between me and the next generation of young black girls," Yola said in a release. “‘Hold On’ is asking the next gen to take up space, to be visible and to show what it looks to be young, gifted and black.”
