New Wood, Vintage Tone

Roasting spruce speeds up its natural aging process, delivering a played-in, old-school tone. This torrefaction process removes excess moisture, making the guitar more resistant to overall atmospheric changes—perfect for tonal consistency.

The Golden Age

With retro charm and a contemporary build, the Highland Collection captures a timelessness that never goes out of style. From the Grover open-gear tuners to the herringbone details, every element is crafted with care.

Set Up in Los Angeles

Professionally set up before shipping, your guitar arrives ready to play—with fresh strings and a durable hard case included.

Studio Mic’d Sound

The LR Baggs Anthem is an all-in-one pickup system that combines a mic and undersaddle piezo with remarkable noise cancellation for performance-ready warmth and fidelity.

My favorite guitar

I’ve got half a dozen acoustic guitars, the Orangewood Sage TS is my favorite. Best action, easiest playing guitar I’ve played, and the sound is so rich and full!

Sage torrified live

Loving the guitar. Action is a little lower than I’m used to,. Not a complaint, just an observation. Still getting used to it. Thanks

Amazing guitars with an awesome sound!

Ive owned many acoustic guitars, ranging from well over 10k to $200. For the price, tone and feel I rate TS Sage Live among the best of my collection. I loved it so much I bought a second one. I now own several orangewood guitars and I love them all. Great company and I highly recommend. Add the anthem pickup and boom masterpiece theatre!

Great guitar, quality concerns

I definitely love the sound and playability of the Sage. It resonates like crazy when I'm strumming, picking, or playing fingerstyle. The torrified top wood also looks beautiful, as do the mahogany back and sides! My only real concern was the neck had a bunch of light scratches in the satin finish in a handful of spots. This was supposed to be a brand new guitar and it seems like a slightly used one. Kind of a bummer, but overall I like it a bunch!

Fantastic guitar for a fantastic price

I’ve played guitar for almost 30 years and this guitar has the best sound quality and playability for the price I have ever played. I’ve played Martins and Taylor’s in the same price range and they seem to fall short on the tone, I’ve even played guitars that cost twice as much or more that do not sound as good as this guitar. I was recently in the market for a new guitar and my first thought was a new Taylor or a Breedlove, so I headed to a local guitar shop and played a few and wasn’t all that impressed, I checked out some Martins as well and they sounded better but I wasn’t sold. So I did some research online and was going to buy a used Martin that had some good reviews but I was leary on buying a used guitar online with no return policy. Then I stumbled onto Orangewood guitars site and started doing some research. Almost all the reviews were very positive, except for a couple that were completely ridiculous. So I decided to order the Torrefied Spruce Sage. It was delivered a few days later, I got it out of the case and tuned it up and played it. The guitar surpassed my expectations, it looked and sounded beautiful. But there was one issue, I noticed a crack on the underside of the neck. So I contacted Orangewood and they had me send the guitar back so I could exchange it for a new one. Five days later I had my replacement. I love this guitar! it is such a joy to play, its hard to stop playing. If you are in the market for a new guitar I highly recommend Orangewood guitars. The guitars are great as well as there customer service.

Spruce

A classic tonewood for acoustic guitars, spruce is a well-rounded, durable wood that’s suitable for many styles of playing.

Torrefied Spruce

A vintage-inspired upgrade, torrefied spruce is roasted to remove excess moisture, so the guitar continues to play at peak performance.

Mahogany

A common tonewood for top, back, and sides, Mahogany is known for its clarity and evenness to accentuate the mid-range tones.

Cedar

An excellent topwood for classical guitars, cedar is perfect for delicate playing styles, like fingerpicking and soft strumming.
