The Echo Acoustic Guitar

Love this guitar! It sounds great and the feel is amazing. The sound resonates from the sound hole and fills the room. The craftsmanship is outstanding. It’s a beautiful guitar definitely for the price. Very happy I made this purchase. Rob C

Thanks for your review, Rob! We're thrilled that you're happy with your purchase!

Beautiful, build quality, huge bang for the buck. Played it next to a buddies Martin HD 28 on Monday. It doesn’t sound like a martin but it’s still a great guitar particularly given the price.

Truss Rod?

Does the Echo have a dual-acting adjustable truss rod? There is no mention in the specification. Every good guitar needs a truss rod to make neck adjustments when the strings start buzzing from humidity changes. Yes? No?

Yes, each Orangewood guitar features a dual-action truss rod. Please feel free to reach out to our customer service team via email at hello@orangewoodguitars.com for inquiries.

Excellent guitar!

I've been playing guitars, electric and acoustic, for over 45 years. My old acoustic , a made in Mexico Martin Road Series, got badly damaged when we move back to Texas from Colorado. I had taken notice of Orangewood guitars, but I felt leary of buying a guitar without being able to take a test drive. After a year of watching reviews on YouTube and talking to a couple of friends who bought one, I decided to pull the trigger. I made the choice of getting the 300.00 Echo, because I love dreadnought. I received it in just a few days. I opened the box, pulled out the gig bag and guitar. I, of course, did have to tune it up. Then I played it, not being able to put it down for at least two hours. The guitar was perfectly set up, so much so, there was zero need to make any adjustments. I've had Gibson J45 and other higher end guitars, and this guitar, though not as rich sounding as the Gibson, sounds like a 800.00 - 1000.00 guitar. I am really impressed!

Thank you for choosing Orangewood! We hope you enjoy your Echo!

Amazing

Got this for my little sister as a birthday present, best present she could've asked for! Sounds so beautiful and truly echoes in any room. Afterwards we took a trip to guitar center in case she didn't like it, NONE of the guitars even came close to the beauty & sound. She said "They all look so plain" xD she has a smaller build at 5'2 135lbs and it's a little big but she loves it so much she doesn't even bother her. "It's a little big but I'll get used to it." So if you're thinking about getting this guitar, you won't regret it!

Thank you for choosing Orangewood! We're so glad your sister is enjoying her birthday present!

Top Wood Guide

Spruce

A classic tonewood for acoustic guitars, spruce is a well-rounded, durable wood that’s suitable for many styles of playing.

Torrefied Spruce

A vintage-inspired upgrade, torrefied spruce is roasted to remove excess moisture, so the guitar continues to play at peak performance.

Mahogany

A common tonewood for top, back, and sides, Mahogany is known for its clarity and evenness to accentuate the mid-range tones.

Cedar

An excellent topwood for classical guitars, cedar is perfect for delicate playing styles, like fingerpicking and soft strumming.
