I have a BIG COMPLAINT! My guitar showed up at my door 15 minutes before I had to go to work. It was in tune except for the high e, quick fix and then WHOA!... This sounds GREAT!!... but I had 10 minutes to jam out and wreck my finger tips before work. Is it worth it? The guitar and the wrecked tips for the money? Oh absolutely! Highly recommend this guitar for all my lefties out there!
Action out of the box was good. Comfortable neck albeit on the chunkier side, but I like that. So far tuning stability is very good. The fret edged are dressed well. My only complaint is that the frets were were not very well polished and a bit scratchy, but that is a minor gripe and an easy fix. Overall a good guitar that plays much better than anything I have played in this price range. Great for beginners or more experienced players looking for a knock around guitar.
I can't believe the sound I get from this Orangewood Guitar. The solid Mahogany top on the Oliver really has a warm tone. I played a far more expensive acoustic many years ago, and I don't remember it having this kind of tone. I'm really enjoying this guitar.
Decided to try to learn again! Wanted a guitar that was affordable, but not cheap, and also looked good! Really happy with the guitar and the really quick shipping. Also got the extra kit that had everything you need to start learning.
Due to illness I was unable to touch my guitar for almost two weeks. Yesterday, before practice I immediately started to tune it up. Only the 6th string needed a little tweaking, all the others were perfectly in tune! You folks make a darn fine guitar! BTW, I had to re-tune all 6 strings on my Ibanez.
