This guitar's action is fantastic. Bar chords are played with a clean tone effortlessly anywhere up the fret board.
While this survey may be sketchy, the guitar isn’t. Came almost in tune, plays great. Made the right call going with orangewood. I was also scared because it shipped to the Midwest in winter, neck stayed straight, no truss needed. I am a happy camper.
This year's plague has delivered many surprises, but none so pleasant as the Echo 12 live. With a superb setup, one fun player.
I was trying to decide to get the 12 string guitar because trying some expensive brand name 12 strings I tried, I had trouble pressing the additional strings while trying to bar chords and was not happy with how it difficult it was to get a clear tone. After reading many of the reviews I decided to order one.
I played it for more than an hour the day it arrived and was very pleased how easy it was to bar chord and the sound and sustain is truly pleasing. I would recommend anyone wanting to get a 12 string to definitely purchase this guitar.

This is a really fantastic guitar. The craftsmanship is superb and the finish is beautiful and flawless. The setup was excellent with a low easy action that I found a pleasure to play. Now I am a medium to advanced level beginner and this is my first 12-string so I was a little reluctant to jump into buying one fearing it would be much harder to play but I was pleasantly surprised how quickly I adjusted to the more precise fingering and hand pressure that is required on a 12-string compared to a 6-string. The very nice, full, beautiful sound you get is addicting and well worth the extra effort. My go to acoustic has been a $2000 Martin 6-string which I absolutely love to play but for the last several weeks I find myself reaching for my Orangewood 12-string instead. At a Discounted $450 with free shipping this guitar is a steal and I would highly recommend it to anyone. I was hesitant to buy a guitar by mail without the opportunity to play it first. I have tried several other 12-strings guitars in the local music shops (Taylor, Martin, Takamine and others) but I found the Orangewood to be just as good or better at a fraction of the price. A little more attention to tuning is required but the built in tuner makes that a snap. The down side you ask? Well my tried and true beautiful sounding Martin 6-string now sounds a bit "empty".... Bravo Orangewood!
