PICK YOUR PERFECT ACOUSTIC | TAKE THE QUIZ
Sold Out $ 895.00
Open your playing to a wider sonic palette with Cleo’s timeless cutaway shape. We topped Cleo with torrefied solid Sitka spruce matched with solid pau ferro back and sides for a rich, aged tone. Gold hardware, abalone detailing, and Grover open gear tuners round out the vintage-inspired design.
Note: Torrefaction is a unique baking process. Every guitar is one of a kind, and the finish may slightly vary in color.

With our expert setup, your guitar is ready to play right out of the delivery box. All Topanga models come freshly restrung with Ernie Ball Phosphor Bronze strings.
Inspired by lush natural acoustics, we added a torrefied solid Sitka spruce top and, for the first time ever, solid pau ferro back & sides to our Topanga Collection.
Take your guitar everywhere with our sturdy hard case. Designed for durability and comfortability, it’s made for the guitarist on the go.
Torrified sitka top, all solid woods and pau ferro sides and back. Rings like a bell. I have and had many high end acoustics. This guit is a steel at this price. I forgot, A great HSC.
Actually, after all of the raving reviews about being "ready to play" directly out of the box, I was expecting just that, within a few minor tuning adjustments given the climate change from California to Florida and the fact that FedEx dropped the ball (again) and was late with the delivery by a few days. In reality, upon opening the box I was impressed with the appearance, fit and finish, case and packaging in general. Then I strummed it. Suffice it to say, the guitar was strung, put in the box and shipped. After tuning , all is good and better than expected. I'm very pleased with my Orangewood purchase and will recommend them without reservation, as their quality and value are unsurpassed in my opinion. I'm attributing the stringing oversite to rushing orders out after a sale. Heads-up next time!
I justified purchasing the Cleo because the cutaway gives ease of using the higher frets, and I don't have anything like a pao ferro guitar. I enjoy having the option of a cutaway with no electronics as I really don't need it. Loved this beauty right out of the box and my wife even asked why it sounds better than my other guitars. Not that they're bad, I have some Martins and a nice Eastman OM in the same price range. Gloss finish is nice. Set up was good but I'll probably give the truss rod a turn when I change string, it's certainly not urgent.
This is my eighth Orangewood guitar purchase and I own at least one in each of the collections. The Cleo epitomizes the culmination of style, beauty and playability. Rivals many guitars that cost much more. Only negative noted is that the new hard case is smaller than the cases I received with my Sage TS and Sage M. The new case has a narrower bottom which exposes the guitar body a half inch above the case before closing the top. It seems to make a good fit, but I would prefer a less narrow case.
yes everything very good
