Sage Mahogany

Received my Sage in January. I love this guitar (thank you Omar for the trade up) kept wanting for something to come up to find wrong with it. Nope! Solid guitar and solid price. Questions for Sage owners. Did you stick with Earnie Ball strings or try sour thing you liked better? My first replacement set are Elixer light phos. Anyone happier with another brand that you think sounds better then the original? Great product Orangewood.

Sage

Beautiful guitar. It looks stunning. The hard case is the cherry on top. I loved how I was able to play it as soon as I got it out of the box. I've played martins and Taylor's before and though I can't deny their quality, when it came down to me choosing a new acoustic guitar I went for my sage and I do not regret it.

Thanks for the review, Alessandro! We hope you enjoy your Sage!

Sage Mahogany

I had the chance to play both tbe Sage Spruce and the Mahogany. Both are great. But the Mahogany is just beautiful and I prefer the sound. The playability is amazing. Guitars with more appointments and inlay don’t play any better than their more simple cousins. The guitar looks good, sounds good and it’s made with quality components- nuff said

Great price and sound, frustrated with one issue

Love the guitar. Great price and sounded beautiful right out of the box. Only issue I had occurred when I went to change strings the first time. Came to find the holes in the bridge for pegs are all different sizes. I didn't track the origin when I removed the old strings. When I randomly replaced the pegs, some plugs were too tight and some were too loose and wouldn't hold the strings in place. Tried pegs from a different guitar with same results, so the peg holes appear to be different sizes. I have had several acoustic guitars and never had this problem before. Going to have to custom sand my own pegs...

Hi Doug, thank you for the review! We're sorry you're having this issue. Please don't hesitate reach out to hello@orangewoodguitars.com to receive help from a member of our team.

I watched plenty of videos reviewing this company… and I felt comfortable placing an order. I wanted a solid wood guitar (no laminates) (no layers) and orange wood has a screaming deal on solid wood features! One thing that I love about my guitar is the mahogany wood on the top! The color is insane!

It sounds weird to say but I feel like guitars can make you feel a certain way. They can talk to you. This guitar somehow guides me to make better sounds. It makes me hear different things in the chords! It’s beautiful! I love it! And last but not least is that this guitar is encouraging me to learn the depth of the guitar and seek the mysteries that so many people know about creating music! It’s something I’ve always craved! Oh and one other thing… the hard case is spectacular! My baby can literally jump all over it and my sage mahogany is comfy cozy inside! Go buy one!!!!
