Morgan Live LH

Nice acoustic guitar, the convenience of not having to plug into an amp and play wherever you are is most excellent. The build quality is very good and sound is excellent as well. I like it a lot.

Campfire Taylor

What a fantastic companion to my Taylor 316ce!

It has a similar shape and dimensions, and the fact that it has a matte finish and almost no chrome (with the exception of the back of the tuning machines) makes it the perfect knock-around guitar.

I picked this up on Black Friday special for $200, and I couldn't be happier. The electronics actually sound surprisingly good when plugged in, and it comes set up very nicely right out of the box.

The only reason I knocked off one star: the strings it's shipped with are junk (but hey, what can you expect at this price point). I immediately replaced them with some Elixir phosphor bronze strings, which makes a night-and-day difference to the tone and playability of the guitar.

Overall, I can't believe you can purchase an acoustic-electirc guitar for so little money that sounds so good both unplugged and plugged in. In fact, I'm so happy with it I decided to sell my old knock-around acoustic to fund my GAS for my electric guitars. What's not to like about that??

If you're on the fence, just buy it. You won't be disappointed. Just make sure to change the strings. :)

Love it!

I bought the Morgan Live as a Christmas gift to myself. I am a beginner and for what I can play so far I love it! I am a left so the pickings are slim but maybe once I’m a better player maybe you will have more options for us lefties to upgrade.

Top Wood Guide

Spruce

A classic tonewood for acoustic guitars, spruce is a well-rounded, durable wood that’s suitable for many styles of playing.

Torrefied Spruce

A vintage-inspired upgrade, torrefied spruce is roasted to remove excess moisture, so the guitar continues to play at peak performance.

Mahogany

A common tonewood for top, back, and sides, Mahogany is known for its clarity and evenness to accentuate the mid-range tones.

Cedar

An excellent topwood for classical guitars, cedar is perfect for delicate playing styles, like fingerpicking and soft strumming.
