Very Nice Little Guitar

Nice sound and very easy to play. The only negative thing that I can say is that I need to tune it every time I use it.

Beautiful, but pickup it has is not the greatest

Very beautiful Oliver jr. Live. Better than pictures online. I did have to adjust neck with truss rod. Had rattle on strings. Pickup is making a resonating noise that I cannot figure out how to get rid of through sound system. Perfect guitar for around the house

Thanks for your review. Please feel free to email our customer service team (hello@orangewoodguitars.com) for assistance with the pickup.

Good little guitar for my 9 years old son

Perfect guitar for my son. Good sound. Of course, it must be played more gently than a big dreadnought. I never liked Ernie Ball strings. I changed them to my favorites, Elixir Nanoweb phosphor bronze. This makes the Oliver Jr the perfect twin to the Taylor Gs Mini, with the same shape and size for more than half the price. Solid wood top, no brainer. Thank

Thank you for your review and for choosing Orangewood!

Love it !!

This is my first guitar. It's in perfect condition and was ready to play right out of the box. My wife plays guitar and she was really impressed with the quality and sound. .

Top Wood Guide

Spruce

A classic tonewood for acoustic guitars, spruce is a well-rounded, durable wood that’s suitable for many styles of playing.

Torrefied Spruce

A vintage-inspired upgrade, torrefied spruce is roasted to remove excess moisture, so the guitar continues to play at peak performance.

Mahogany

A common tonewood for top, back, and sides, Mahogany is known for its clarity and evenness to accentuate the mid-range tones.

Cedar

An excellent topwood for classical guitars, cedar is perfect for delicate playing styles, like fingerpicking and soft strumming.
