Oliver Jr.

Nice instrument! Unfortunately, the action was high when I received it, so had to have the nut & the bridge lowered by a tech. Other than that, it has met my expectations. Keep up the good work!

Four year review

I now have had the pleasure of owning this guitar for over four years and although my main guitar is a Taylor, I love coming back to playing this guy when ever I want an easy playing guitar to play. I have to tell you it really stays in tune great and i do love the tuners, very east to turn and smooth. Mine is the Jr model so it does not have the booming bass the larger guitars have but I would not hesitate to play it plugged in at any gig. Over the last 4 years it sits right beside my desk and ready at a moments notice to be picked up. Almost always in tune and looks like the day it was made. I have played other smaller sized guitars but I would not trade any of them for this one. Maybe I got and exceptional guitar but talking to friends who have other Orangewood guitars, good quality at a fair price is the standard for Orangewood.

Great Guitar!

Received my Oliver Jr live and was immediately impressed with the appearance. The dark mahogany looks great. This guitar also sounds great as well and was set up well. The pickup also functions well. My friends were surprised to hear how much I actually spent on this guitar! Highly recommended!

Top Wood Guide

Spruce

A classic tonewood for acoustic guitars, spruce is a well-rounded, durable wood that’s suitable for many styles of playing.

Torrefied Spruce

A vintage-inspired upgrade, torrefied spruce is roasted to remove excess moisture, so the guitar continues to play at peak performance.

Mahogany

A common tonewood for top, back, and sides, Mahogany is known for its clarity and evenness to accentuate the mid-range tones.

Cedar

An excellent topwood for classical guitars, cedar is perfect for delicate playing styles, like fingerpicking and soft strumming.
