Highly playable and impressively good quality instrument.

Wasn't sure what to expect when ordering a musical instrument for such a low price. After all, the craftsmanship in a sub-$500 guitar is going to be suspect, right? Not with Orangewood! This is a clearly well-made musical instrument and I could not be happier with my "first" guitar selection.

Morgan live

I got the Morgan live for $214 on sale w shipping to Florida. Set up was great right out of the box. No sharp frets, good action. Gig
Bag is good not great but good for
My purposes. I mostly play at home and at acoustic jams. Pick up sounds good too. I’ve had more expensive guitars but for me it’s fine

Five stars except for the strap

Pros : Guitar is beautiful, the action is perfect, it stay’s in tune, the sound is very good compared to most guitars I’ve played in this price range. I love this guitar. Love the Little tuner that came with the kit.

Downside : The duty and shipping for Canada is making the price jump quite a bit compared to buying in the US. The strap that came with the kit had a really strong chemical smell that wouldn’t go away even after leaving it 2 days outside in the cold weather. Had to throw it away because it would give me headaches. I bought a leather one from Amazon Canada , made in Canada for 20$ cad from Perri's Leathers Ltd and it’s great quality.

Overall, I had a great experience with Orangewood so far , shipping was quick, even for Canada. Would I buy again? Yes.

Guitar set up is excellent, no need for adjustment at this time.

What size strings are these and ernie ball makes acoustic bronze?

Top Wood Guide

Spruce

A classic tonewood for acoustic guitars, spruce is a well-rounded, durable wood that’s suitable for many styles of playing.

Torrefied Spruce

A vintage-inspired upgrade, torrefied spruce is roasted to remove excess moisture, so the guitar continues to play at peak performance.

Mahogany

A common tonewood for top, back, and sides, Mahogany is known for its clarity and evenness to accentuate the mid-range tones.

Cedar

An excellent topwood for classical guitars, cedar is perfect for delicate playing styles, like fingerpicking and soft strumming.
