I love the guitar. Being a beginning guitar player, but having been in music many years playing bass and piano, I have been working at it a lot since I received it. The sound is just a lovely, warm, clean sound that keeps calling to me. I really enjoy listening to the sound of this guitar.
I recently started fretting the low e-string (6th string?) at each fret though the 12th fret, and playing an open b (2nd string?) while doing so. When I fret notes on the e string at the 10th and 11th frets, the open B would all of a sudden develop a very annoying buzz when played. This buzz is not happening on any of the other strings, including the one being fretted. I have never encountered anything of this nature on any string instrument I have played previously (I'm a bass fiddle player by nature and I dabble with banjo). When asking other guitar players if they have ever encountered anything like this, I get looks of bewilderment. I'm having the guitar checked for proper neck alignment and relief, but find it very puzzling as to why only the 2nd string would start buzzing when only the 6th string is fretted at only the 10th or 11th frets.
Might you have any ideas on what is happening here and how to fix it?
I will be happy to return to this review and update it after seeing what kind of response I get from your company. So far I have no complaints with your instrument or your company. I pray your follow up to this review will leave me viewing your company in the same manner. I look forward to hearing back from you soon considering this. Thank you for your time in advance.
Everything you need to get started! Love it!
Really pleased with my Orangewood Oliver. Brilliant tone and easy to play. Accessories kit is a great deal as well.
