This my second guitar even though I’m still a beginner. This one is so much easier to play and tune. I’m very pleased with this purchase.
I’m disappointed that it was made in China after the company highlights “designed in LA” and crafted by our guitarists… i bought this guitar for the fact that it was made in the US (which turned out to not be the case despite their advertising suggesting it is), beautiful, and lotta bang for your buck.
Well, it’s as gorgeous as can be with full, rich sound! The concert style body shape is perfect for me as a petite woman. I love my guitar.
Just starting g to learn guitar. Looks nice and sounds nice. Only thing was it went on sal for $50 less week later I bought it. Lol
I like the guitar very much. It has a great sound purely acoustically. I did install a Baggs magnetic pick up and can get a super good faithful acoustic amplified tone as a result.
I think your business model is producing a great product. Here's a recommendation. Many of us are concerned about China's treatment of workers in that country. Providing some review of these conditions relative to Orangewood would be useful. It's one thing to get a great bargain in the world economy ... it's quite another to do so at the cost of suborning safety and minimizing human rights.
Sincerely,
KJ
Overall, nice guitar for the money. I bought it for a cheap travel guitar. The biggest issue is that the guitar came with some fret buzzing in the low D, A, and E strings. Orangewood advertises that they first get the guitar and set up the guitar before shipping so this was not expected. Also, it can cost over $100 to get a guitar professionally set up which is especially steep for a $350 guitar.
Hi Greg - it sounds like your guitar may just need a truss rod adjustment! If you have any questions about how to adjust your truss rod, please reach out to us at hello@orangewoodguitars.com.
