Top Notch!

Bought the Brooklyn because I wanted to get better at playing guitar. Over the past few months I have read and seen video reviews raving about the quality of Orangewood guitars. When I finally pulled the trigger and received my guitar, not only was I not disappointed, I was far more impressed than I thought I’d be! Not a mark on it! Absolutely perfect! I’m not very experienced, but I have noodled for quite a few years. This guitar has renewed my enthusiasm to actually learn how to play. Thank you for producing a very fine product!

Excellent guitar. As good or better than the competition at a fraction of the price.

I own two Orangewood guitars. The Oliver Jr Mahogany and the Brooklyn. Both are excellent. Specs and build quality are top notch. They look, play and sound wonderful and punch way above their weight class. Both have solid tops, which is what really matters. To get the price down, and increase durability, they use laminated back and sides, which is fine. If you're on a budget, looking for a good first guitar, or just looking for a great deal on an excellent guitar, Orangewood should definitely be on your list.

Pros: Sound, playability, build quality, materials, appearance, nice gig bag, fast shipping, good service. Amazing value for money.

Cons: Not made in USA, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. If these were made in USA, they would cost at least 5x the price.

Overly impressed until...

My low E string sounds horrible, says it’s in tune. When I fret on the G note ( 3rd) it’s as if I’m muting the string.

We are sorry to hear that your low E string doesn't sound good, Phillip! If you can please send us an email at hello@orangewoodguitars.com, we will be happy to assist you.
