This is the second guitar I’ve ever had. I first started playing 13 years ago and got a decent Seagull. This Orangewood is easily on the same level as that guitar and was about $350 less if you include the case. I’m very pleased so far. It’s easy to play. It does have a small blemish in the finish, but apart from that it looks great. I do wonder if the thick finish is holding back some better tone, but either way it sounds great for the price.
This guitar is great. The sound and sustain is excellent. The fit and finish is comparable to guitars twice the price or more. Action and playability very very good. Definitely a heck of a deal for the price. I may purchase a mahogany in the future but this did not disappoint. Highly recommended.
My daughter wanted a guitar for xmas and she loved it good quality and beautiful guitar we are really happy
Thanks for putting an Orangewood under the tree! We hope your daughter has fun playing her new Brooklyn!
I have been perusing the website and the reviews for almost a year after discovering your company. My initial take would be that it will arrive with some flaws or the action would be too high, warped neck, etc. I really don't like mail order music anything. But the holiday sale took hold and I selected the Brooklyn (with free accessory kit). The guitar arrived today (a Sunday) by Fed Ex and I slowly opened the carton and gig bag to reveal a flawless example of the Brooklyn! The guitar was flawless in every respect! The action is near perfect as can be with no bad frets or warping. The sound of this little guitar (as compared to a dreadnaught) is huge! The guitar responds to your every playing nuance, from picking and strumming dynamics to fingerboard tricks with ease. The only thing that I would like is for the inlays to be a bit more pronounced in the mother of pearlescence department. This Orangewood guitar is worth the mail order anxiety and the price was great too!
Thank you for your review, we are so happy that you are satisfied with the purchase!
I was a little nervous buying my first acoustic (Brooklyn) guitar without actually feeling or playing it. When I received it, I was relieved and happy that it sounded great and felt good too. Thank you for making a very affordable and great sounding guitar.
