I ve had this for 2 weeks now and I’m really enjoying it. Originally was going to give it as a gift to my son but decided to keep it. Lol.
My guitar fret board has type of oily substance on it, when I play it my fingers are very dirty I’ve wiped the fret board and it doesn’t seem to matter. I’m very disappointed Iyown two Orangewood guitars and they have been a dream. I’m trying to find a way to solve this issue.
All I can say is what a guitar ! Just love it. It's easy to play, Sounds great. Just tuned it up ( it was almost in tune when I received it) and away I went. Did not put it down for a few hours. This is my second Orangewood guitar and I will be buying more for sure. Thank you !
I have had the Echo 12 now for almost 2 weeks, and I love it. I wanted to play it for a while before posting a review so I could have a more full opinion of the guitar. To begin with, the ordering and shipping experience was great. Shipping was VERY quick! I was pleased with the fact that the guitar was already set up at the factory. There was no need to fuss about the action on the neck, because it was perfect. As a matter of fact, the guitar was actually close to being in tune upon arrival, which I think is amazing for any guitar that has gone thorough shipping! I have a Roadie 2 Tuner to tackle those problems. Incidentally, I've had 3 other acoustic 12 string guitars (Guild, Martin and Gibson) a long time ago, but I gave up playing them because keeping them in tune frankly drove me crazy. If you are going to buy any 12 string, also buy the Roadie tuner (or something like it), because now I can tune the Echo 12 to perfection in about a minute. And, by the way, the Echo 12 holds it's tune very well. I mentioned before that I had 3 other 12 strings from well-known quality brands. I can tell you without a doubt that the Echo 12 Live guitar is by far the best 12 string guitar I have ever owned! The guitar plays smooth as butter. The tones are rich and clear. It's easy on the fingers to play. The action is set perfect for playability and clarity. So yeah, I LOVE this guitar! I haven't plugged it in to my amplifier yet, so I can't report on the electronics, but at this point I don't think I'd have much to add to the review. As a matter of fact, if I was wanting to amplify this guitar, I might just mic it instead because the pure tone of it is simply beautiful on its own. So, if your thinking about buying a 12 string, I would absolutely recommend the Echo 12 Live. The price is amazing for this guitar!!
