Pretty guitar! Very playable. Electronics sound good, too. A good time is being had, with high expectations for plenty of good sonic emanations in the hearable and the here enabled future.
Thanks to all of you invoved.
Thank you for the review, Andrew! Enjoy the sonic emanations!
Overall this is a nice guitar. I bought the "Almost Perfect" version at a discount. I could find nothing physically wrong with the guitar, except for some slight inconsistencies in the neck color. And i mean slight, they are barely noticeable. Build quality appears excellent. No seepy glue, fit and finish is excellent. It has a very nice sound for the size of the body. Setup out of the box is playable, but could be better. Nut slots are cut a bit too high, so I will be dropping off at the luthier for a proper setup. Overall I am happy with this guitar, and I would recommend it for someone who wants a nice looking and sounding Grand Concert.
Thanks for the review, Shawn! We're glad you are enjoying your Brooklyn. The grand concert shape is a fan favorite!
After weeks of watching endless YouTube videos and reviews I decided on the Brooklyn Live from Orangewood. I'm very happy with my purchase! It shipped very quickly, and I was kept up to date as to when it would arrive, that was nice. The guitar is flawless, absolutely beautiful and has a great tone! Just what I was looking for. Overall, I felt Orangewood was a very good company to buy from. I will buy again when I'm ready for my next guitar.
Thank you for the review, Max!
Beautiful Action. Excellent
Very very impressed
Thank you for your review and for being a returning customer!
The guitar arrived one day late than estimated which is not Orangewood's fault. The strings were too heavy gauged and squeaked. I changed the strings to Elixir Extra light gauge. The action was too high and was fixed by modifying the saddle height and a truss rod adjustment. I gave 4 stars because the glue job on the bracing was sloppy and there was a spot where white glue had run on the inside of the guitar. There was also a piece of tape and wood shavings inside the guitar. The guitar is beautiful on the outside and plays well after addressing the issues I've mentioned. Electronics work but not fabulous. I would have preferred the Fishman electronics that are on the other guitars of the Melrose collection.
