Definitely skeptical at first due to never buying a guitar before playing it first but it is so well made and plays better than my Gibson songwriter. Been telling every one about this amazing brand!
This guitar is awesome. I have it tuned to double drop D and it is amazing! Plays very smooth and looks excellent. The pictures online barely do it justice. I hope they decide to make an all solid wood 12 fret guitar. I'd wait for that one to come out. Again, if you're thinking of getting this then do it, you won't regret it.
Very happy with the guitar. Plays very nice, the neck feels good. Seems solid. Great tone.
I was excited to see the Ava Mahogany go on sale for Memorial Day week, so I finally pulled the trigger after researching these guitars. This really exceeded expectations for me. Out of the box it sounds amazing. Incredibly warm, gentle, and crisp. Low and high notes all come through very clearly. The resonance and sustain is just incredible. Decent volume for a mahogany guitar too. The finishes and accents on the entire instrument are beautiful. The action is actually pretty decent- I doubt I'll do any adjusting. I recently played a Taylor mahogany of the same style over double the price at a store, and I prefer the Orangewood- this is a great value in my opinion. The included case is very nice. What I'm most pleased with is the intonation. When I put a capo on any fret, everything is still in tune. I've already adjusted the tuning from DADGAD to standard and back a few times, and the guitar holds tune very well. I received frequent emails and texts with updates on the delivery from Orangewood. One of my best purchases!
I have had this for a few months now it’s amazing sounds nice the mids and lows are Great lacks on the High ends a little but that’s because of the mahogany and I like the sound of mahogany so not a problem it is the most Beautiful guitar I’ve ever seen the binding is great. And it plays like a dream I have not played many guitars but the neck is so smooth and it fits. in the hand perfectly. And the hard shell case is amazing considering the price must 600$ guitars don’t come with that I don’t think many 600$ guitars play like is either. It was stiff(I mean the tone) at first but before long it Open up well and when I put 13s on it rocked I can’t put it down I like it a lot.
