All our guitars are professionally set up by our expert technicians for the smoothest "out of the box" experience for our players.
Inspired by the sound and beauty of vintage guitars, we’ve added a solid Mahogany top and Grover open-gear tuners to our Highland Collection for an aged look, woody tone, and a timeless impression.
Take your guitar everywhere with our first-ever hard case. Designed for durability and comfortability, it’s made for the guitarist on the go.
All our Highland Collection models feature an ebony bridge and fingerboard to add balanced bass and a smooth feel that guitarists love.
We use Ernie Ball Earthwood Phosphor Bronze acoustic guitar strings for a warm, distinguished tone with golden clarity.
I recently purchased the Orangewood Sage for my daughter's birthday. She was over the moon when she opened the box and hasn't put it down since. The construction and sound quality is great...it looks awesome and came w an awesome case to boot. I don't play but did a lot of research on guitars before I purchased the Sage. Beautiful...great value...awesome sounding...you can't ask for more
I started picking up the guitar again after getting Covid at age 55 . I saw a few reviews on You Tube and the one that stood out the most was Darrell Braun’s. I decided to try out the Sage Mahogany . It traveled from Cali to Maryland and still in tune! It plays great and I love the tone. Best guitar for the money! It’s definitely one that will keep me playing !
I love my new Sage. It's a beautiful guitar and sounds awesome. The setup and all the special details are perfect. I love how smooth the neck is in my hand. Sending a hard case with the guitar is a great service to your customers. I was going between the Sage and Mahogany Martin. I'm glad I went with the Sage. It sounds as good as the Martin I own. I picked up an Oliver a couple of months back. That's what attracted me to the Sage. Thank you for offering such nice instruments for a great price.
I 'am glad I ordered mine when I did. I see that they are sold out right now. I have had mine about 2 weeks now. I could not find any flaws anywhere. Fret work, binding, inlay, neck joint, neck, tuners, nut, saddle, and bridge are perfect. The only things that I have done is put on D'Addario Phosphor Bronze strings and took just a little bit of relief off the neck. The Sage Mahogany sounds great and will only improve with time. The guitar case is great too and fits the guitar like a glove. What a great value. I am extremely happy with this purchase. I hope these guys start making solid body electrics before long. Keep up the great work Orangewood. Oh, did I forget to say I love this guitar!!!
I had read so many good reviews and seen so many positive videos, I couldn’t resist trying the beautiful mahogany Sage. I was not disappointed. It arrived perfectly set up, and immaculately finished to the finest details. In addition to having a low action (just right for my fingerstyle playing), perfectly cut nut and saddle, the tuning gears are excellent - this guitar tunes up more easily (and stays in tune better) than any guitar I’ve played, and I’ve played and owned a lot. I also love the satin finish (I’m not a high gloss fan), and the satin neck feels and plays super smooth. On top of all that the sound is glorious - mahogany tone at its best.
I’m blown away by how nice this guitar is. I won’t even say “at this price”. I would put it up against a similar size and style guitar of any manufacturer. My 70’s Martin D-18 hardly gets played any more - this is my go-to guitar now.
An addendum: Customer service is great, they respond immediately to communications/questions.
