This is what I was expecting and more! I love the feel and the look of it. This is my second instrument from them and both of them just exceed my expectations.

Excellent guitar

The Mason Live is an excellent value and great quality. Shipping was fast and the guitar was well packaged. The only downsides I see are cheap tuning machines which are easily replaced and the included gig bag is average quality. Sound quality unplugged is excellent with good projection. Sound quality plugged in with the LR Baggs system is great. It sounds better than my Taylor 210ce's ES-2 system. My only complaint about the LR Baggs system is that the strap button width is very narrow and getting a thick strap on it could result in a dropped guitar. If I had one suggestion for improvement it would be to put a battery box on the guitar instead of having the battery velcro'd to the inside under the neck. Very tough to change.

Amazing guitar

This has to be the best acoustic guitar out there. The sound, the action, the tone are outstanding! It is as beautiful to play as it is to look at. Orangewood will be my first choice for any other new guitars I buy in the future.

Thanks for your review! Welcome to the Orangewood family!

Truly amazing guitar.

Straight out of the box I was shocked at the beauty of this guitar, the pictures in the app really do no justice. Now for the sound of the guitar, it doesn’t project to the back of the room very well but does have a good warm and intimate tone. Overall the guitar is spectacular looking, feeling, and sounding very excited to learn more songs on this awesome guitar!!! Thanks Orangewood!!

Awesome and beautiful solidly built guitar for the price. Wasn't happy with the first one received, action was high and there was a speck of white dot on the head. The company stood behind their product and did their best to work out the problem, unfortunately couldn't fix the action and had to do a replacement. Return process was easy with great correspondence from the sellers. Second one's the charm, came almost perfect with minor adjustment to get the action lower. Beautiful tone but I've since changed the strings to Elixirs, just my preferred strings, my Big Baby Taylor and Sigma by Martin also have them. But yes, this guitar plays wonderful comparable to more expensive brands out there, especially when plugged in, the LR Baggs pickup makes the sound really come to life.

We appreciate you working with us to find a solution! Thank you for your review!

Top Wood Guide

Spruce

A classic tonewood for acoustic guitars, spruce is a well-rounded, durable wood that’s suitable for many styles of playing.

Torrefied Spruce

A vintage-inspired upgrade, torrefied spruce is roasted to remove excess moisture, so the guitar continues to play at peak performance.

Mahogany

A common tonewood for top, back, and sides, Mahogany is known for its clarity and evenness to accentuate the mid-range tones.

Cedar

An excellent topwood for classical guitars, cedar is perfect for delicate playing styles, like fingerpicking and soft strumming.
