All our guitars are professionally set up by our expert technicians for the smoothest "out of the box" experience for our players.
Take your guitar everywhere with our premium gig bag. The durable padding and comfortable straps provide protection for the guitarist on the go.
All guitars come with an optional pickguard to protect the wood and add a decorative touch. Please keep in mind! Once applied, it can't be removed.
We use Ernie Ball Earthwood Medium Light acoustic guitar strings to provide a crisp and full-sounding rich tone.
I received my Brooklyn about two weeks ago. When I opened up the gig bag I saw the beautiful creation that i have seen all over the internet. It is absolutely gorgeous in person. Then I played it. It sounded awful. My fault though because they were new strings and the wood was not yet comfortable with where I live. After a week of playing it and changing the strings to phosphor bronze, I am blown away by this guitar. The hype is real folks. You just have to let the guitar adjust and then make it yours if you so choose. It’s so easy to play. I am so happy that my purchase exceeded my expectations. Extremely close to Martin quality. Thank you orangewood! You hit it out of the park!
This is my second Orangewood after the Morgan Mahogany. The one thing I wasn't a fan on that particular guitar was the pickup. I opted to get the non-electric version and go with the LR Baggs M1 active...and trust me it's definitely worth the extra $100 vs the flex system they put in the live version.
Now for the guitar. Don't be upset when you play the guitar out of the box. The 80/20s that come with it are good strings (and weren't astronomically different on the Morgan) but do not at all cater to this body. Once you change to phosphor bronze, this becomes a totally different guitar with suprisingly clean lows and bright, shimmering highs. I would recommend Orangewood to put the Enie Ball strings on this guitar that they put on their Highland Collection guitars.
Everything else was great...quality of construction and set up were fantastic. Even at the 14th fret it was set up low enough to play easily without any fret buzz whatsoever. On my particular guitar the Pau Ferro back and sides though laminate make for a georgous combination. This guitar went solo on a wedding performance and everyone I talked to said it sounded beautiful. (Through a fishman loudbox artist with the Baggs pickup and a reverb pedal). This is not a cheap guitar, this can absolutely be used for gigging with the little improvements I mentioned.
Estoy enamorado de mi Orangewood Brooklin, guitarra de maderas sólidas de extraordinaria calidad y belleza, hermosas líneas, bellas incrustaciones en madreperla, hecha con amor y clase, sonido de concierto, es realmente adictiva
This guitar exceeds my expectations of what a performance guitar should play and sound like. Great action and tone. I only wish i bought the version with the electronics. I can’t put this guitar down.
I bought the brooklyn model on a whim. Been wanting a new acoustic for a while. Decided on this due to the fact that if I didnt like it I'd be able to return it and go buy something different. I wont be returning it because this guitar is amazing. The craftsmanship is impressive, I was amazed at the beauty of the thing. I didnt think it could possibly sound as good as it looked, but it sounds amazing. I'm extremely happy with my purchase! If you came here due to youtube reviews, it's not all hype, try it yourself.
