Amazing
I bought the Ava a couple weeks ago because it's all solid mahogany. The sound isn't what I expected but rather dull, flat sounding. While the A string has a bit of resonance to it, the lower E has none at all. The disappointing sound, despite it's other good qualities makes it not worth playing. So it just sits there.
outstanding product, quality in every way
I absolutely love this guitar. I was worried at first bc I’d only heard the videos but I was blown away at how close it was to a Martin for not even half the price.
I picked my Ava Mahogany on the Almost Perfect sale. I have been debating purchasing one of these guitars for a long time: watched dozens of YouTube videos, read over every review, and did all kinds of research. Honestly, this guitar seemed to be the best deal for the quality that I'm not able to afford at a brick and mortar store. I was a little hesitant with the "almost perfect" because you never know the extent of the flaws, but honestly, my wife and I looked over this guitar pretty carefully and could find, literally, nothing wrong with it - it looks pretty damn perfect to me. If it was a mistake, I'm grateful to Orangewood for making it and giving me a $700 guitar for 30% off. It made my dream of having a beautiful, solid wood instrument a reality. The hard case is amazing, and the guitar sounds and plays like a dream, plus it looks like a $2000 guitar. I love playing this instrument. Thank you Orangewood!!
