Nice guitar, nice price.

The Sage Mahogany Live has good tone, good electronics, and good playability. Very nice combination for the price. Looks good, too. I'm satisfied.

Great Feel, Great Sound

This my third Orangewood guitar. The Sage Mahogany holds its own with my Taylor and my Martins. I purchased this guitar to compliment the wood combinations of my other instruments, which it does beautifully. Although I will use the Sage to perform ballads, it handles all styles of playing quite well.

If you are looking for solid wood construction that can hold its own against more expensive name-brand guitars, consider an Orangewood. If you plan to perform with the instrument, consider investing in a solid wood instrument. The difference is remarkable, and well worth the investment.

I have a feeling that this will NOT be my last Orangewood purchase. They make a great product and offer terrific customer service.

Thank you, Orangewood!

Leap of Faith

I initially purchased the mahogany Oliver because of the the Sage being sold out. Purchasing the lower end guitar first gave me an idea of the build quality, ironically I received a notice that the Sage mahogany Live was available about a week and a half after I purchased the Oliver. I was so impressed that I went ahead and ordered the Mahogany Sage Live. My Orangewood Sage rivals my Taylor’s, Martin and Ovation in style sound, workmanship and playability. With an outstanding pick-up I am confident that it will become my “go to “ guitar for both acoustic and electric gigs. I was very hesitant to order a guitar online that I had never played but I’m quite pleased that I took a leap of faith.
