Easly the best acoustic electric I've ever played at this price point or higher. Up there with the 800 or grand bauties !!!! Love that they didn't put a pick guard on my baby !!! Tuners are Smoth and hold a tune pretty good to . Whish I would have believed the hype a year ago
There's next to nothing to keep me from singing praises. I'll lay out the only bad things I have to say very bluntly, though. On my Morgan Live, the bridge pins were far too tight, I assume because the bridge wasn't reamed properly. The Oliver I ordered didn't have the same issue but it did have a small chip in the sound hole that somehow made it past QC. The finish was perfectly sufficient. Small little imperfections here and there, but nothing terribly glaring. The tuners did their job and held tune just fine. I didn't care much for the rubberized knob material, but I can't hold that against my rating as that's a matter of taste. That's an easy replacement though, should you wish to change them (as I did). The few real issues are small and have little to no bearing on sound and playability though which is where I found these guitars to exceed my expectations. They sound wonderful and play wonderfully to match. The setup was solid. The action was ever so slightly stiffer than I'd like on the Oliver and just about perfect on the Morgan. Above and beyond how most guitars come new in almost any price range. I would absolutely reccomend an Orangewood to someone without a second thought. The few problems I had were barely enough to knock a star off and I had to think hard before I did. These instruments are definitely worth the price tag.
I have two other acoustic guitars that I spend more money on than this Orangewood. Since this mahogany beauty arrived the other two haven’t come out of their cases. After ready reviews and watching all the You Tube videos I finally made this purchase and have no regrets. Looks great, sounds great, and plays great. Do not wait. Buy this guitar. Thanks
