Oliver

Definitely a good guitar for the price. It doesn't quite as full as my more expensive guitars, but highly playable. Only complaint thus far is that 2 of the bridge pins needed to be reseated when it arrived - they weren't out, just sticking up quite a bit.

Orangewood mahogany

Had my mahogany for two weeks now and am totally satisfied with it! It was set up well and sounds great! I couldn’t be happier with my purchase and will buy a spruce top model in the near future.

Best Damn Guitar

I bought this for my first ever guitar after a phenomenal review of Orangewood products from one of my best friends. I love this guitar more than most mothers love their children. The gig bag that comes with it is especially phenomenal and for it to come included in the price is unbelievable. I've basically taken it everywhere for two years and basically used the gig bag as my backpack carrying my laptop to class. 10/10 guitar.

Thank you for your review, and welcome to the Orangewood family! We're glad your guitar and gig bag have been the perfect companions on your journey. Happy playing!

You Can't Beat This Guitar for Value!!

This guitar is incredible for the price. Solid top, beautiful and flawless appearance, warm and rich sound. The neck plays great, and the setup was almost perfect right out of the box. I wish they would have filed the nut slots, in particular the G string is too tight, so you get the terrifying pinched string sound when tuning it.

My only gripe with this incredible guitar is the tuners are quite unresponsive and some take several turns to actually change the tuning a slight amount. None of these things would stop me from buying or recommending this guitar cause I love it! Thanks Orangewood!

Thank you for your review! We're so glad you're enjoying your Oliver! For help with the nut slots or tuners, feel free to reach out to our customer service team at hello@orangewoodguitars.com—we’d be happy to help!

Top Wood Guide

Spruce

A classic tonewood for acoustic guitars, spruce is a well-rounded, durable wood that’s suitable for many styles of playing.

Torrefied Spruce

A vintage-inspired upgrade, torrefied spruce is roasted to remove excess moisture, so the guitar continues to play at peak performance.

Mahogany

A common tonewood for top, back, and sides, Mahogany is known for its clarity and evenness to accentuate the mid-range tones.

Cedar

An excellent topwood for classical guitars, cedar is perfect for delicate playing styles, like fingerpicking and soft strumming.
