Aged to Perfection

Roasting spruce speeds up its natural aging process, delivering a played-in, old-school tone. This torrefaction process removes excess moisture, making the guitar more resistant to overall atmospheric changes—perfect for tonal consistency.

Your Sonic Escape

Inspired by getaways to the California coast, the Topanga Collection captures the glow and warmth of the Golden State in every note. Sights include: a tanned glossy top, pau ferro back and sides, and shimmering adornments.

Set Up in Los Angeles

Professionally set up before shipping, your guitar arrives ready to play—with fresh strings and a durable hard case included.

Studio Mic’d Sound

The LR Baggs Anthem is an all-in-one pickup system that combines a mic and undersaddle piezo with remarkable noise cancellation for the purest sound you've ever heard amplified.

Wonderful sound and feel.

The wood. The attention to detail of assembly and finish are outstanding. The sounds and overtones are top shelf. It's balance is great. No drop during playing. I love it.
It feels, looks and sounds like a $4,500 Martin to me. I'm a convinced convert. I actually am selling my other acoustics now after six months. Do the deal and buy an Orangewood Sierra. You will not regret it.

Love this guitar

Couldn’t ask for a better guitar this thing shoots well above its price point, and sits so well in any mix. Love this guitar would 110% recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable premium instrument.

Outstanding!

This guitar sounds and plays incredibly. Very equivalent to a $1,500-$2,500+ guitar from other brands, but at a fraction of the price. The included setup was great, and the the case seems solid. Highly recommend!

Thanks for your review, enjoy your Sierra Live!

Wonderfully made beautiful instrument

I bought the Sierra Live thinking I would love having a smaller guitar, since currently my acoustic is a jumbo.

I was blown away at the craftsmanship and quality of the sierra. It sounds quite wonderful as well, I realized though in this process that for me who does more strumming than anything else, the smaller body didn't give me the sound I was looking for.

This isn't at all a knock on the sierra, but more on me for buying the wrong sized guitar body.

Would recommend to ANYONE looking for a grand concert.

Top Wood Guide

Spruce

A classic tonewood for acoustic guitars, spruce is a well-rounded, durable wood that’s suitable for many styles of playing.

Torrefied Spruce

A vintage-inspired upgrade, torrefied spruce is roasted to remove excess moisture, so the guitar continues to play at peak performance.

Mahogany

A common tonewood for top, back, and sides, Mahogany is known for its clarity and evenness to accentuate the mid-range tones.

Cedar

An excellent topwood for classical guitars, cedar is perfect for delicate playing styles, like fingerpicking and soft strumming.
