Guitar that Fits Me

I was given this Guitar by a friend, who said it was too small for him, I am in a wheelchair and I play sitting down besides being small in stature, so finding a good sounding and playing guitar was a task. the Oliver J.R. Mahogany fits me perfect and plays great, I added a Fishman electronics and it is a Great Guitar

Thank you for your review Eric! We are so glad you were able to find a guitar that is a perfect fit and plays great! Enjoy your Oliver Jr!

Exactly what was needed

I bought my wife a Mahogany Oliver Jr. for our anniversary to help get her started on guitar. It's perfect for her as the smaller shape means she doesn't have to practice on my larger dreadnought and the price range meant it wasn't a huge investment.

Good for Beginners$300

I have had my Oliver Junior for 15 months now & thought I should update my review.

Playability: 4/5

Fit & finish: 4/5

Sound: 3/5

Customer Support: 5/5

If you are a beginner this guitar will serve you well. If you do fingerstyle and light strumming, the Oliver Jr holds it own. If you are a "strummer", you might want to check out the Taylor GS Mini or the Martin D-10 Junior. But both of these guitars cost $300-$400 more. Choose what works for you. Playing guitar just "fits". Strum on!!

I got the Oliver Jr to leave at my sisters house for when I visit but it is my new travel guitar..I also have a Taylor gs Mini, a Martin LX!E, a Baby Taylor and a Recording King and the only one the Oliver doesn't beat is the Taylor.
