I have always used the D'Addario two-way humidification system, but decided to try the Boveda. I was pretty disappointed when I discovered the packs are too large to be able to hang the double packet in the sound hole of my Yari WY1. The pouches don't hang freely. The are resting against the bottom of the guitar. The packaging shows another option for placement, that being to simply lay it on the fretboard itself, under the strings. I may end up doing just that, because the fit in the sound hole is terrible.

Top Wood Guide

Spruce

A classic tonewood for acoustic guitars, spruce is a well-rounded, durable wood that’s suitable for many styles of playing.

Torrefied Spruce

A vintage-inspired upgrade, torrefied spruce is roasted to remove excess moisture, so the guitar continues to play at peak performance.

Mahogany

A common tonewood for top, back, and sides, Mahogany is known for its clarity and evenness to accentuate the mid-range tones.

Cedar

An excellent topwood for classical guitars, cedar is perfect for delicate playing styles, like fingerpicking and soft strumming.
