Absolutely Beautiful!!!

It is an absolutely amazing guitar. Would recommend (and have) to all my friends and family. The tone and quality is of a guitar priced at 2-3K, yet it’s just $695.

A Definite Winner!

After a couple of days of acclimation, a restring to DiAddario Phospher Bronze strings and a minor truss rod adjustment, this Sage Live rocks. My Sister purchased a Brooklin a few weeks prior and after restringing and hearing her’s, I had to have one. I was in the retail music business for several years and have been playing for quite some time. Both guitars are a great value. If you’re looking for an acoustic, I would definitely give Orangewood some serious consideration!

My husband loves it!

I purchased it for my husband and he loves it. Great quality and sound!!

Good Value, Worth it

Great case, guitar fits snugly into slot and well padded. The guitar has a minimalistic design and looks great. No issues with construction and set up. The Phosphor Bronze strings really are the best set up for this guitar though I wish it came with the higher end rust resistant version. Oxidation rubs off on fingers relentlessly.

Picking sounds amazing, very responsive, resonants and sustains well with hammer on and slides. Strumming leaves more to be desired. Not as crisp as I was expecting. Still getting extra value for It’s price point with the LIVE Sage electric acoustic version. It’s a steal, I mean deal, especially for the $695 all acoustic version.

Sage Live/Rich Sound/

I've played many guitars in my time all over the spectrum....the major competitors and so many from specific luthiers. Before I ordered this Sage Live, I listened to many Youtube videos of this guitar...and concluded the sound produced was going to be...impressive. So...I expected to be IMPRESSED...and I was. This guitar has a rich/deep sound and is clear across the registers. If I didn't know better, I'd think, based on the sound, that I may have a rosewood guitar in hand. The setup was close to my desired measure...only adjustment I made was the total turn of 1/4 (2 x 1/8 turn) positive on the truss rod. And a kudos to Orangewood for including excellent instructions on how to care for the guitar including truss rod adjustments. IMHO however, you should adjust the truss rod only if you truly know what you are searching for...or trying to accomplish. Everyone wants to know what these guitars compare to... I's difficult to know that answer unless you've actually owned/played many. My conclusion>>I would compare this to guitars that cost 3x the cost of the Sage Torrefied Spruce Live... The feel of the guitar is straight-on and the neck is very comfortable. So, I tell everyone, get one of these... You will thank me....and Orangewood.... And a get an excellent guitar case with these....
