Excellent Product

I’m not an audiophile by any means and have always played mid level guitars. The Sage Live is my first higher end guitar and it is easy to play it looks great and most importantly sounds awesome! Definitely rivals my friends Taylor that I’ve played. My guitar did have a chip in the wood upon arrival but the exchange process was simple and easy. I’m 100% sure I’m getting another Orangewood guitar in the near future. I’m gonna need to grow an extra set of hands though cuz I won’t be able to put either guitar down 😀 Thanks for making an excellent product at a reasonable price!

New Sage Live - BB in New Orleans

I am very pleased with this find. The O' Wood add for the Sage in Vintage Guitar Mag caught my eye...the guitar has beautiful lines, wood tones and styling. I then absorbed a few video reviews on-line and was convinced to roll the dice. This guitar is the best sub - 1K guitar I have ever seen and played. Has very strong, well balanced, warm tonal response for ALL styles ( strumming, fingerstyle, jazz, segmented flat picking, etc). without using the pickup. Orangewood truly created a very impressive & affordable instrument here....for any level of player. Wishing orangewood all the best & Peace to all.........Bobby.

I like it, but expected more

The box arrived with a huge hole in it, and I was surprised how little packing material was used, but it's undamaged and plays fine except the buzz on the open A string, but I can fix that. I would like it to have included instructions for changing the battery in the electronics, I will just figure it out when the time comes. For the price the guitar feels a little flimsy to me, it plays well and I like the sound, I don't regret my purchase, I just expected a little more.

love this guitar BUT...

It is a shame that they don't make a lefthanded model.
If they did i would not hesitate to buy one.

Sage Live Experience

This is the first guitar I ever purchased without playing it ahead of time. It hit all the check marks of what I wanted in an acoustic guitar at a great price but would I like it? The answer is yes. It sounds great with rich tones, wonderful playability and good looks. I would write more but my fingers are worn out from playing it so much.

Thanks for your review, Steven! We are glad you are enjoying your Sage Live!
