Mason Nylon Cedar Live

Super fun and Versatile

This guitar is very fun to play! I had a little issue with buzzing on the A string a few weeks after I got it but I just humidified the guitar and it seemed to do the trick. I haven't had an issue since. Also the guitar went from LA to New England so prob a big temp change. Fortunately Orangewood customer service was super responsive as well so I I think if the issue persisted they definitely would have helped. The tuner on the guitar is like a half a sec slow so its easy to tune higher if you rely on the EQ screen. Then have to tune back down. Not a big deal at all and the quality of the guitar is way above its price point. I find myself reaching for this guitar as much if not more than any other instrument I own (I have like 10). The tone knobs are surprisingly effective. I can get really interesting high end with it. But I'm not the best guitar player so you can also hear my fingers switching chords etc. When you turn the tone knob all the way down it almost eliminates that issue for me so I'm very impressed with the versatility and overall rich sound. Guitar is dope well worth the buy if you want something you can plug in and record in a DAW or play through an Amp. Sounds great without all that as well.

Another great guitar

Exceptional guitar but action was very high. Adjusted accordingly by sanding the saddle--minor adjustment if you know what you are doing. After adjustment every thing else was perfect. Highly recommend this guitar if you are looking for the "Nylon" sound but do not want to contend with flat frets as found on most nylon string guitars.

Wish guitar

I wish I could have a really good guitar that I would pick up everyday and learn with. I wish I could have a guitar that would sound great. I wish I could have a guitar that didn't cost a lot of money so I could afford a good amp. Well, I don't have to wish any more...I got it. The Orangewood Mason Nylon Cedar Live is a really good guitar and I play it more than my other guitars!
