I was researching Orangewood guitars for several months and checking out reviews and demos in order to decide if one might be right for me. I communicated with Craig a couple times and had my questions answered in timely manner. I was hesitant about not being able to see the actual flaws on the specific guitar and if not pleased upon receiving it, not able to return it as their policy declares. The savings were significant so I took a chance....I’m glad I did!! Two very tiny clear finish chips on the front upper bout but they are so very inconspicuous unless you know where to look.
The case is solid and nice looking. The guitar is beautiful, fit and finish very nice. LR Baggs electronics sound terrific. Set up is spot on and only needed a slight tuning. I’m very pleased with the overall sound of this acoustic. The satin neck finish, neck shape and fret work make playing quite comfortable. I’m very satisfied with this less than perfect Cleo model...it’s perfect for me.
I highly recommend Orangewood Guitars. Their business model, products, set up, customer service have made for a great experience for me. Thanks Orangewood!!
Thank you for the review, David! We are so happy that you found the perfect Cleo for you!
Sufficient to say the least
I love my new Orangewood acoustic guitar. Picks were missing but it is such a minor thing and I still feel this company deserves a
5-star rating. Happy New Year!
I purchased this guitar for travelling.
For that purpose it great inexpensive guitar.
The setup was pretty good, but frets needed polishing. It’s nowhere near a Taylor GS mini (I own a Koa model) but it’s 1/3 the price. It makes a good starter guitar for children or a travel guitar with travel padded gig bag. I also love the scale length do to my small hands. I’m pleased with my purchase.
Very nice and even though mine was free I would have easily paid the $25 for all that you are getting
