Way Better Than I Expected

Given that the price on this was rather low (and on sale also), and going by the edict "you get what you pay for", I didn't expect all that much. And I had no experience with Acacia tonewood. Was I surprised!!! The sound is really wonderful, and the finish is beautiful! It came not only with a very good gig bag, but also a tuner, which a lot of people don't think about getting (until they need one), a bag strap, and a very handy chord chart! I'm very impressed, and plan to even buy another one as a gift!

Nice tenor!

I like the full sound even with high-G. I replaced with low-G. Only negative is I would prefer the action set closer to fretboard especially on higher frets. Nice tenor, though!

The ukelele is beautiful and the little extras it comes with are super helpful!

Christmas gift

I unpacked it yesterday to check for damage and it arrived fine. It's a nicely crafted little instrument made from quality materials and I'm sure it will be greatly appreciated. I'm thinking of getting one of your guitars for myself. Well done Orangewood.

I like it

I'm an older new learner. I'm trying guitar and have reached a transition point of no improvement, so I decided to switch gears somewhat and refocus on another stringed instrument. The ukulele is fun to play with and I actually believe it's lessened my mental block on the guitar.

This ukulele is well made, attractive and the "C" string has about settled without too much tuning. The included tuner with my purchase is absolutely needed. I've actually purchased a second one to give as a gift. That's how much I think of the quality, sound and overall enjoyment!

Thank you for choosing Orangewood! We hope you enjoy learning on your Harper Tenor Acacia!

Top Wood Guide

Spruce

A classic tonewood for acoustic guitars, spruce is a well-rounded, durable wood that’s suitable for many styles of playing.

Torrefied Spruce

A vintage-inspired upgrade, torrefied spruce is roasted to remove excess moisture, so the guitar continues to play at peak performance.

Mahogany

A common tonewood for top, back, and sides, Mahogany is known for its clarity and evenness to accentuate the mid-range tones.

Cedar

An excellent topwood for classical guitars, cedar is perfect for delicate playing styles, like fingerpicking and soft strumming.
