Florence Parlor Guitar

I am a long time player and have been playing for 40+ years. I have been looking for a smaller parlor sized guitar to drag around with me without exposing my D-28 to unnecessary wear and tear. On YouTube a few months ago, I saw an ad for Orangewood and started watching the many demos and reviews from Marty Music and others about Orangewood guitars. The reviews all were positive. So for just $195, I pulled the trigger and ordered the Florence.

I wasn't sure what to expect for a guitar in that price range, then was pleasantly surprised. I received the guitar yesterday afternoon and unpacked it. The first thing that stood out to me was the set up and play ability was spot on. I tuned it and started playing it and found no issues with string buzz or dead spots no matter where you play up and down the neck. The intonation was perfect. Before i knew it, 3 hours went by and i was still playing it. That is a sign of of a well playing instrument. It has an "old timey" tone to it, which is what i was looking for. I have been in the market for an antique parlor guitar for years and none have come along that won't break the bank.

This Florence Parlor guitar is a pleasant surprise and definitely the best guitar i have ever purchased under $200.

Thanks for your review, Duke! We're glad you are enjoying your new Florence!

Great guitar

This is a great guitar. It is of top quality materials and craftsmanship. The set up is great and the guitar plays and sounds great. This is my first Parlour size guitar I love it. It is very convenient and easy to get it out and play. I highly recommend this guitar to anyone beginner or advanced player.

One of the best acoustic guitars I’ve played

I really enjoy playing this guitar! The sunburst color looks great and the sound that comes from the size of this guitar is amazing! I’m very happy with my purchase:)

Florence

Just recieved Flo (a day early) and wow guys, I am extremely pleased. This is my second purchase from Orangewood and the experience couldn't be better. I love the bright voice of this guitar (doesn't sound like a toy to me at all). Packaging was great, finish great ( a couple minor things but not a deal breaker, that just makes it uniquely mine in my opinion). Plays great (no fret buzz on this one). Great job.
