Upgraded Playability

Juniper is built for all, from beginner songwriters to touring pros. Ernie Ball Flatwounds provide a nice warmth to accentuate Juniper’s tonal textures, while Grover open-gear tuners ensure tuning stability.

Plug In and Explore

Juniper sounds great unplugged—but just wait until you run it through your favorite amp and pedals. The powerful Alnico 5 humbucker packs the perfect punch to all that mellowness. Let the soundscaping begin.

Set Up in Los Angeles

Professionally set up before shipping, your guitar arrives ready to play—with fresh strings and a gig bag included. When needed, you can easily fine-tune the playability at home with the headstock truss rod access.

The Artist’s Secret Tool

Using our parlor as the base, we tested a number of rubber-lined saddle designs to find the right thickness and adjustability. We then upgraded the bridge construction with additional reinforcement and added in a trapeze tailpiece. The result? A dreamy yet articulate sound.

the rubber bridge

I love the playability of the Juniper Live Rubber Bridge, the pickup, and the look and size of the guitar. Not ever having played a rubber bridge guitar before, I took a chance on the Juniper, but I miss the sustain and the full sound afforded by a typical bridge with a bone saddle. It's a great guitar especially at that price, but just not my cup of tea. I intend to exchange the Juniper live for another Orangewood.

Well made and fun!

This guitar is extremely fun to experiment with. Unlike any guitar that I've played before!

Thanks for the review Vincent! Enjoy your Juniper!

Incredible! Just buy it! Don’t even think twice!

What a beautifully appointed and well crafted instrument! The folks at Orangewood Guitars knocked this one WAY out of the park! This Juniper Rubber Bridge is an inspiration machine. Do yourself an easy favor and buy one right now.
I am incredibly pleased I did and you will be too! Thank you, Orangewood. Now please release a Juniper 12 fret standard bridge ☝️
I would gladly add that one to the arsenal as well😅😏

Top Wood Guide

Spruce

A classic tonewood for acoustic guitars, spruce is a well-rounded, durable wood that’s suitable for many styles of playing.

Torrefied Spruce

A vintage-inspired upgrade, torrefied spruce is roasted to remove excess moisture, so the guitar continues to play at peak performance.

Mahogany

A common tonewood for top, back, and sides, Mahogany is known for its clarity and evenness to accentuate the mid-range tones.

Cedar

An excellent topwood for classical guitars, cedar is perfect for delicate playing styles, like fingerpicking and soft strumming.
