Julian Mahogany

This has revitalized my lifelong pursuit of acoustic guitar playing. The only flaw I have found is the sharp corners on the nut but with a little softening with a file this was taken care of. For the price this is a total winner! Will get another very soon. Thank You Orangewood Guitars.

Quality and Value

Two weeks in with my Julian Mahogany, and I'm pleased as can be with the purchase. The parlor size makes for comfortable playing without sacrificing too much low-end sound or volume, and the overall feel along the neck and fingerboard is smooth and easy. And even when I'm not playing, I just enjoy looking at it... beautifully designed. I doubt you could ever find this level of quality at such a reasonable price anywhere else (and a really nice case too!)

Thanks for your review! Enjoy your Julian Mahogany!

Top Wood Guide

Spruce

A classic tonewood for acoustic guitars, spruce is a well-rounded, durable wood that’s suitable for many styles of playing.

Torrefied Spruce

A vintage-inspired upgrade, torrefied spruce is roasted to remove excess moisture, so the guitar continues to play at peak performance.

Mahogany

A common tonewood for top, back, and sides, Mahogany is known for its clarity and evenness to accentuate the mid-range tones.

Cedar

An excellent topwood for classical guitars, cedar is perfect for delicate playing styles, like fingerpicking and soft strumming.
