I just got my Brooklyn Live Mahogany yesterday and can't put it down!
I'm liking everything about this guitar. The feel, the action, the way it sounds, and the ease of play is just great.

I would first like to say that after setting up the guitar some more, it is great, but there are a few complaints. The first is that the black fretboard stain is inconsistent in some parts (which may be fine for people who like the worn down look). The second is that the carving for the bracing on the top wood looks slightly rushed as it it fairly rough. Now for the setup. I think Orangewood is doing great by doing a professional setup, but I think they are chasing too low of an action / not testing hard strumming when doing so. The strings had buzz, so I had to loosen the trust rod a significant amount. For beginners who don’t read the instructions, they may end up paying extra money to have someone else adjust this. I would also recommend putting on new strings. Overall, the guitar is great and would highly recommend.

Top Wood Guide

Spruce

A classic tonewood for acoustic guitars, spruce is a well-rounded, durable wood that’s suitable for many styles of playing.

Torrefied Spruce

A vintage-inspired upgrade, torrefied spruce is roasted to remove excess moisture, so the guitar continues to play at peak performance.

Mahogany

A common tonewood for top, back, and sides, Mahogany is known for its clarity and evenness to accentuate the mid-range tones.

Cedar

An excellent topwood for classical guitars, cedar is perfect for delicate playing styles, like fingerpicking and soft strumming.
