Dana Tuning Problem

I am having an issue tuning the G string. It is always flat, when I try to tune up, very slowly, a loud pop comes from the bridge/pin. Then it goes mega sharp, and I cannot get it in tune. Do you have a solution for this, if not, I will send this one back.

Thanks for your review. Please reach out to our customer service team (hello@orangewoodguitars.com) for assistance with your order.

my smaller Orangewood acoustic

I have severe arthritis in both hands. This smaller guitar makes it easier for me to play guitar. It's a fine, inexpensive guitar. I recommend it!

Thanks for your review! We're so glad that your Dana is the perfect fit!

Presents for Granddaughters

I have two aspiring guitarists ages 7 and 9 and both these 3/4 size acoustics that I purchased (one Dana Spruce and one Dana Mahogany) are a perfect fit for two young girls. They are priced right and sound great, in fact they sound nearly good as my baby Taylor which had cost me three times as much. I wound up replacing the strings on both with nylon as the Ernie Ball Steel strings that came with them are hard on the fingers for young girls. Well built, solid construction and tuners. Great little high-quality instruments! For a second or a travel guitar it would be my first choice. Wish I had tried one of these before I bought my baby Taylor.

Great guitar!

I love this guitar and the price is amazing for what you get! I took it to my local Guitar Center and played it alongside a Little Martin and a Baby Taylor, which are three to four times the price of the Orangewood Dana Spruce, and other than the Taylor and the Orangewood sounding a bit brighter than the Martin, I honestly couldn't tell a whole lot of difference in the tone between the three guitars. The guitar also arrived perfectly set up, and the entire buying experience with Orangewood was nothing short of outstanding!

Thanks for your review, Randy! We're glad to hear that you had a positive purchase experience with Orangewood. Enjoy your Dana!

Top Wood Guide

Spruce

A classic tonewood for acoustic guitars, spruce is a well-rounded, durable wood that’s suitable for many styles of playing.

Torrefied Spruce

A vintage-inspired upgrade, torrefied spruce is roasted to remove excess moisture, so the guitar continues to play at peak performance.

Mahogany

A common tonewood for top, back, and sides, Mahogany is known for its clarity and evenness to accentuate the mid-range tones.

Cedar

An excellent topwood for classical guitars, cedar is perfect for delicate playing styles, like fingerpicking and soft strumming.
