I reached out 2 days ago about adjusting the neck A la Maison nylon. I have not heard anything back. You need a better support system.

I have nothing but good things to say about this purchase. The guitar is very well made and sounds wonderful plugged in or unplugged. It's a bit easier to play than the guitar It's replacing, as it seems like the fingerboard is more in line with a steel string instrument. My friends are very impressed with the looks and sound as well. I'll be in the market for a 12 string next, and it will be another Orangewood as well.
I’ve just bought my guitar about 2-3 weeks ago. I’d have to say I’m a little disappointed so far. My strings don’t stay in tune, and had began oxidizing within 2 days of playing. The guitar is very nice but feels almost low end in quality. First time I’ve been disappointed with a purchase from here.
Hi Steven - we appreciate you taking the time to write an honest review. As the strings on your instrument are brand new, they will likely take a couple weeks to stretch and settle (nylon strings require even more stretching). Something that will help speed up this process, is gently tugging up on each string a few times, then re-tuning the instrument - you can repeat this a few times. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions at hello@orangewoodguitars.com!
In deed it was a bargain for a nice sounding, beautiful and 'attractive' looking guitar. The guitar that came in from my original order suffered from a freight damages so Orangewood rapidly processed and shipped out replacement. On this replacement, I love to see the top wood's grains that are straight and tight, it produces great nylon guitar sound. This is not a 'classical' sound but beautiful nylon one since its bracing is for steel string guitars, the sound is round and warm, enough sustained. The treble and bass sides are balanced and most of all, all the notes are well in-tune even though there aren't any compensated slot on the saddle bone. I like the headstock, the logo. It looks simple but elegant. I like the satin feel of the neck. Negatives are: The guitar is unnecessarily heavy (due to thick finishes, thicker and over-braced inside both on the soundboard and the back wood). I would like to see if the company would build a entire satin finished and lighter, a bit-narrower neck, traditional bracing nylon guitar. Regardless, I am happy to give a 5 stars for a beautiful, attractive, bargain guitar package.
