Everything You Need to Know About Your New Orangewood

How do I clean my guitar?

Use a spray cleaner and a soft cloth to rub away dirt from the body as needed and apply a thin coat of lemon oil to the fretboard about once a year.

How do I keep my guitar healthy?

We recommend taking your guitar in for a professional set up after every 6 to 12 months of play. This will be a great investment in keeping your guitar clean and loved for years to come.

When do I change guitar strings?

New strings will make your guitar sound bright and crisp. Depending on how often you play, we recommend changing your strings every 1 to 3 months.

How do I store my guitar?

When storing your guitar for an extended time period, we recommend putting a humidifier with your guitar in the gig bag. It will help keep the wood moist and prevent any warping, fret buzz, or other common issues.

Why are my strings buzzing more than usual?

If you notice that your strings are buzzing or that the action doesn’t feel quite right, try adjusting your truss rod (see more below).

How do I adjust my truss rod?

To adjust, insert the allen wrench into the nut located at the base of the neck (inside the soundhole). A little goes a long way. We recommend only adjusting 1/8th of a turn at a time.
