I ended up returning it solely for sound reasons. It was not exactly what I was looking for. I’ll give the sage spruce a try.
I love my new guitar! It looks absolutely gorgeous with the all-mahogany body, and the construction & setup are just perfect. It plays like a dream and sounds so amazing. The tone is so warm and the bass really comes through. If I had cash I would buy another in a second.
Thank you for making such a great guitar. But I also really want to thank the good people at Orangewood, in particular Anthony (I am sorry I don't know his last name) who has not only been incredibly helpful but a pleasure to do business with. Thank you Orangewood, I hope to play many more of your guitars in the near future!

. . . and I'm still in love with my Sage Mahogany Live. I changed the strings, but see now where one person said they didn't like the strings either at first, but later that were good. So maybe I should have waited. In any case, I have played my Sage more in the last year than in the 30 years that I had my old guitar. I have learned to play dozens of songs in the last year. I even play it while watching TV. I have arthritis in my hands but the more I play the more I can reach some of those chords that make you really stretch. I don't use the electronics much, as I seem to get a sustained vibration sound in my amp speaker, though I am thinking I don't have it adjusted correctly. I still feel it was worth every penny.
Absolutely a beautiful instrument! So looking forward to spending my spare time playing this guitar.
Sadly it arrived with a cracked bridge. It began making fret buzz sounds and that's when I noticed it. I'm sure it was overlooked when it shipped. Other than that I found the area of nut where it mate with the neck on the side was unfinished or finished rather poorly as it wasn't a smooth transition from wood to nut or visa-versa. Other than these to large issues the guitar had a wonderful sound it which I loved. Unfortunately I can't play it without the buzz pissing me off. Please help.
Hi Adam - so sorry to hear that your guitar has these issues! Please reach out to us at email@example.com and we will be happy to help!
