For the price you can't beat it is Guitar plays in sounds beautiful I have several higher and Martin's and this is pretty comparable would definitely recommend
So far I'm very pleased with the Ava Mahogany that I received in early July 2023. The setup was great right out of the box. I had some concern at first with the somewhat shallow neck angle but it hasn't been an issue. In fact, it's about the same as my two Larrivee OM-03's. Cosmetically it is very clean. The only thing I can detect is a small "fill" where the heel cap meets the body. I took this guitar (along with one of my OM's) to recent bluegrass festival where a number of friends played it. Consensus was very positive. I have to say that Orangewood guitars are as advertised.

This guitar is amazing. The look of the guitar is stunning, the color, 12th fret inlay, shape, everything are all beautiful. But more importantly, the feel and sound of the guitar is really impressive. I feel like this guitar is worth more than I paid. It is really easy to get lost in time while playing. Also the Orangewood customer service is great.

I was very skeptical paying that much money on a guitar that I haven’t played before but it had the exact tonewoods I was looking for so I went ahead and ordered it. When it arrived it was beautifully packed and I didn’t have to set it up at all. I have a few Gibson guitars and I’d rather pick another one of these up then deal with the poor quality of Gibson and I’d spend a quarter of the price. My only complaint is the grover tuner on the G string but that’s probably just my guitar. I don’t care though because this guitar looks great, feels great and sounds great. I’ll be on the checking orangewoods website obsessively for any limited runs of the Ava because I want another one soon.
Seriously though just buy one. Don’t be a Martin or Gibson snob and give this a shot. If you hate it just send it back. (You won’t send it back. It’s that good)
