The Oliver Spruce guitar sounds great. It has a bright and big sound despite its size. Its playability is very nice for the price point. This is my second acoustic guitar and I’ve been playing for 21 years.
Thank you for the review and for adding an Orangewood to your guitar collection!
This is the first guitar I have ever played so I’m not exactly sure how it would compare but this thing is great! It’s well worth the price, you can tell they care about quality a lot. The pictures don’t do it justice, when I first opened it I was amazed by how good it looks! Very happy overall.
Thank you for trying Orangewood for your first guitar, Peter!
First new guitar I've bought, and it sounds, feels, and looks amazing
What a bargain! Just picked up my Solid Spruce top Oliver from FedEx. First of all, it's a beautiful instrument. It was set up quite nicely, and was just barely out of tune. Second of all, what a deal! I got my instrument on a Black Friday deal, and I can't get over what an amazing value this was. Not only was it marked down to $180.00, it came with a free accessory kit that sells for $25.00. and frankly the accessory kit's a bargain at that price. Geez, it even came with a battery for the electronic tuner! I just priced gig bags at Guitar Center a couple of days ago, and they were asking $69.95 for one that would fit a full size acoustic guitar. Are you kidding me? Eminently playable, with nice tone and volume. The quality of this instrument is comparable to guitars costing 3 to 4 times as much, and those come without a gig bag! PERFECT guitar for a beginner!
The bag came a little bent out of shape, the guitar has one imperfection around the sound hole, but over all really good sound.
