This guitar is amazing

This is actually my second Orangewood guitar My first one was the Echo Dreadnaught I have to be honest about Orangewood guitars there is no other guitar in the industry that can match its craftsmanship Tone and playability at this price point to put this in perspective I Own a Taylor 914 2003 Fall limited an Alverez Yari 12 string so on so forth. I just received my Mason Live. Bang for your buck you cant beat it I am extremely Happy with both of my Orangewood guitars I own and would highly recommend it to any body looking for great playing and sounding guitar that wont bust your pocket book .

Looks great, sounds cheap

I'm being honest, it sounds comparable to an $80 Jasmine acoustic i used to own. My $120 Yamaha acoustic sounds WAY better. I'm pretty disappointed.

Mason Live

My primary guitar is a Larrivee D03R. I was on the lookout for a suitable candidate to serve as my secondary. Primary use would be alternate tunings and (even though the term does not fit) a Beater for grab and play convenience. It has surpassed these goals. The Mason is certainly a high-end beater. It plays a bit easier than my Larrivee. Set-up seems fine. No buzzing and no intonation problems. Fit and finish is surprisingly good and the very nice gig bag is just icing on the cake. The Fishman electronics work well. The only area it falls short in as compared to my $2400 Dreadnaught is its projection. As I was looking for a guitar that was well suited for strumming with a more jangly tone, I am well pleased. All in all, the Orangewood plays miles above its $2000 difference with my Larrivee. I only wish there had been something like this available when I was first starting. Bottom line is this guitar plays at a price point twice its cost. I am so glad I found Orangewood. Thank you.
