Oliver jr

While I realize that this is a budget guitar, the tuners are very poor and don’t do a good job of keeping the guitar in tune. Other than that it is a great little guitar! I’ve been playing in a band for 20+ years and it’s a great sounding guitar with a mic on it. If the tuners were better it would rank a 5+

Hi Greg - as the strings on your instrument are brand new, they will likely take a couple weeks to stretch and settle. Something that will help speed up this process, is gently tugging up on each string a few times, then re-tuning the instrument. You can repeat this a few times. Feel free to contact us at hello@orangewoodguitars.com if you are still having issues or if you have any questions!

Customer service not great

I bought my Oliver Jr and waited for it to come. Little over a week later it came! I took it out of the box and checked it out. There was some imperfections around the body, marring, but also a big scratch up the side. I did play it to check out sound, etc, and it was a pleasure to play! I did order a “new” guitar, not a scratch and dent(seemingly used?!) guitar so I immediately emailed the company letting them know how the guitar came, and also sent pix… I’m still waiting for a response. I do like the guitar but hey, if I’m buying a new car I wanna put the ding in the door..not someone else.. this guitar for sure should not have been sold as new or perfect. Still waiting… overall the guitar is super fun to play…I’m 5’2 and I love the size of the guitar.

Hi Heidi - we are so sorry to hear that your instrument arrived with these issues as this doesn't sound like the quality we strive for. It looks like we responded to your message last Friday, but please don't be afraid to follow up if you don't see it and if it is not in your spam folder.

Needs some work

I’m afraid to say that it needs some setup. It sounds off. I haven’t played in 30 years, but I know it doesn’t sound right. The Oliver Spruce I bought has been great. I think it just needs some adjustment, so I’m going to hang on to it.
