Brooklyn live

The guitar is very nicely made. I've lowered the action even more since I couldn't play certain things with ease. I find that I hate feel of the Ernie ball strings in general after putting on some Ernie ball paradigm set so switching to elixir in a few months. Im not a guitar tech but after ordering guitar setup tools I can tell that the only thing that might have been set up close to perfection was the relief. I'm in the process of filing down the nut since 2 or 3 are still high. And like I said previously I had to lower the string height by filing down the saddle some more.

Pap's Review

I am enjoying playing my Orangewood Brooklyn Live. I was taken back by how good it sounds! And I do have both a Taylor and Martin.

Brooklyn live

I just got my Brooklyn live and it was set up nicely. The tuning was a little off but it's expected to be since it traveled from California to Florida. I'm unsure if the strings are just old and need to be replaced or played a bit more but they felt different from elixir strings which feel smooth and glide with ease. The neck feels great around my hands and the grand concert was the best size for me to go with. I only wish they offered a cutaway option to go with the grand concert because I would have chosen that one right away. I did order a grand auditorium size before but it felt close to a dreadnought for me so I returned it because of that. Orangewood is honestly a great option to buy a guitar from since it includes a gig bag and a great set up to start off with. If you can't find a guitar at other stores give Orangewood a try because they really do make great guitar's.
