For improved stability and tone, we’ve torrefied the solid spruce tops on our Melrose models. You’ll get all the benefits of a modern build, plus the dynamic tonal range and golden glow of an aged guitar.
Take your guitar everywhere with our premium gig bag, made with comfortable straps and durable padding for extra protection on the go.
Our Melrose Collection Live models come equipped with a Fishman Flex EQ System, featuring a built-in tuner and onboard controls for volume and tone.
The guitar is beautiful and in my opinion, worth more than I paid for it!
I like the guitar. It sounds great and feels great. The one complaint is one that I heard about before even buying the guitar. The battery door on the Fishman pickup. The battery technically has not pop out, but every time I open it, it kind of spills out. Not sure if it's magnetic or what. Otherwise great guitar great experience.
I paid extra for the torrefied thing believing the hype but honestly I cant hear the difference. Pretty good guitar all around thou
I purchased this guitar to be a "campfire" instrument. I had some GAS guilt, (guitar acquisition syndrome), so I kept a low profile on this. This guitar plays and sounds as good as my much higher priced Gibson, and I will enjoy playing it 'round the campfire, it can also hold its own on the concert stage. I am more than 200% satisfied with this purchase from Orangewood!
I had heard through a friend of a friend about Orangewood guitars and how good they were. Have a couple Taylors, but always enjoy a new guitar. I already have a cutaway so I went with the Brooklyn Torrefied. Shipping was quick and I even got 10% off to boot.
Guitar is beautiful in every way, with exception I of the pick guard - I thought it looks cheap, but to each their own.
Plays wonderfully and sounds amazing. No it doesn’t sound AS good as my opened up 414ce, but it sounds and plays light years beyond any other $500 guitar. Try one out.
