I love the look and feel of the guitar, the craftsmanship is superb, the sound is crisp and defined and people ooh and ahh all over it amazed at the value for the price. The tuner seems a little wanky but it could just be my eyesight so I just use my clip on device. To my ear it sounds a little thin which makes me think perhaps I should have gotten the dreadnought, but the comfort of the style really is what I was looking for and I am going to experiment with different strings. I may just go ahead and order the echo but am really interested int the Hudson but it is always sold out whenever I check. Also, I am not sure what the difference is between the Brooklyn Live and the Limited edition which I got. I am happy with my Orangewood and I really talk it up to people. Tonight I am going to play at a local open mic plugged in so I'm excited about that too! If I can get someone to record it I will post it.
So. To make a long story short I found myself with 2 dreadnaughts and was looking for a grand concert size as I was learning fingerpicking. So I sold one of my dreadnaughts (T) and used the money and ordered the Brooklyn limited edition live based on reviews n various Orangewood Guitars on YouTube.
To say I was pleasantly surprise is an understatement. The guitar is beautiful and unlike my other name brand guitars (M &T) it was already setup nicely. It both plays and sounds incredible and I show off the guitar any chance I get and everyone is shocked when I tell them what I paid for it. I think you’ll be hearing from a few of my friends.
The Brooklyn Live limited edition is a great guitar. I did have to adjust the trust rod a few times because of string buzz. But once I did that it was great. I’m planning on purchasing the Ava live if it goes on sale again.
Beautifully setup and ready to play. Impressed with tonal quality and action. Dead Battery but everything else good to go. Have recommended to friends.
