No regrets

A solid 3/4 with nice warmth to it. Really enjoyable for playing at home, and like the versatility of acoustic-electric. It’s a nice addition to the lineup which offers some variety without breaking the bank.

The Oliver Jr is exactly what you'd expect at this price point. Nothing more, nothing less. Don't expect to get the beautiful matched wood grains you see on the guitars given to Youtube reviewers. The wood on the guitar I received was as expected - splotchy and cheap, clearly from the "whatever" pile in the factory. I don't have a lot of experience with 3/4 size guitars so I won't compare the tone to others. The bracing seems very heavy for the size, which may contribute to the boxy sound. The low E sting might as well not be there. That said, if I had this guitar as my first guitar 40 years ago I would have been perfectly happy. I bought it as a backyard/camp guitar and it fits that bill well. I actually wanted a guitar that I woudln't love. If it gets wrecked, no big deal. Sadly, the Orangewood fits that bill perfectly.

Excellent guitar!

I was looking for a parlor sized guitar under $400, and stumbled upon this company from watching some musicians' reviews on YouTube. I am very impressed and have received lots of compliments in the week or so that I've had it, and the strings are starting to sound really good! The pickup is clean and the controls are easy to use and minimalistic. Very happy with the guitar and the gig bag as well.

Oliver Jr. Spruce Live

I purchased this 3/4 Oliver Jr. Spruce Live guitar for my kids to learn. It produces great solid sound with or without the guitar amp. I used this also with our church's sound system and it gives great live sound. I highly recommend this for someone who likes good product for the very affordable price.

Looking for a Travel Guitar !

I have been looking for a acoustic/electric guitar that is shorter than a normal guitar and I found it in the Oliver Jr. Spruce Live. It came ready to play right out of the box. This is a 'loud' guitar and it will surprise people when they hear it and see that's its smaller than it sounds. This is one guitar that will never be sold , I'll keep it forever. My grandson will want one of these when he hears and plays this one. The look and workmanship on this guitar is outstanding. Do yourself a favor and order this guitar you'll thank me for it !!! I'am a happy camper !!!
