Guitar is great. Quaity Control on gig bag not so much.

Guitar was carried into house from strap on gig bag slung over shoulder. The strap came undone and guitar hit the floor bruising the finish on the lower heel front edge. Sad for brand new guitar.

Oliver Jr. Live Spruce

Over all I am happy with this guitar. I had to adjust the truss rod to lower the action at the 12th fret and the tuners could have been better. They seem to have some slack in them making it a little frustrating to tune the guitar. The guitar plays good and sounds good. The gig bag is good.

Hi Ronald,

Thanks for your review! Something that may help with the slack in your tuners is tightening the small screw on the side. The screw allows for the tension in the tuner to be increased or decreased. Please reach out to us at hello@orangewoodguitars.com if you have any questions!

Great customer service, beautiful guitar!

When I received the Oliver Jr Spruce, I was initially disappointed to find that it was buzzing all over the place and adjusting the tension rod did absolutely nothing. I contacted orangewood, they had me send a video of how it sounded, and then identified the problem with the guitar and offered several options that I could take. I decided to exchange it to give the guitar another chance and I’m happy to say I just received the new one and it sounds beautiful! Impressed by both the quality of the guitar as well as their service! Would recommend!

No regrets

A solid 3/4 with nice warmth to it. Really enjoyable for playing at home, and like the versatility of acoustic-electric. It’s a nice addition to the lineup which offers some variety without breaking the bank.

Excellent guitar!

I was looking for a parlor sized guitar under $400, and stumbled upon this company from watching some musicians' reviews on YouTube. I am very impressed and have received lots of compliments in the week or so that I've had it, and the strings are starting to sound really good! The pickup is clean and the controls are easy to use and minimalistic. Very happy with the guitar and the gig bag as well.
