Better than needed to be with the price!
This is the third Guitar, and I love it, better than expected. Sounds good, very well made, and set up is perfect. Well Done.
Greg
Very pleased with the quality and sound of this guitar. The neck is amazing. Set up was spot on. The Fishman Flex Plus-T EQ was better than expected. Tweaked my amp to get the best sound and am extremely pleased with it. This is my second Orangewood, but probably not my last!
The guitar arrived on time. The setup out of the box was great. The pickup on it sounds better than the one on my expensive made-in-America dreadnaught. There was some _very_ minor finish wear around the soundhole and lower strap button when it arrived (as if someone had put a strap on it and played it...possibly as part of the QM or setup process?), but I've probably done worse to it already in the few weeks I've been playing it. The neck is beefier than I expected, but I don't mind beefy necks - just something to consider if you're expecting something slimmer/faster feeling (like a Taylor). The guys I play with are ready to put aside their own expensive made-in-America acoustics for an Orangewood after playing this one.
I would have gotten the Torrefied model, but the coupon code didn't apply to it, putting it *just* out of my budget.
All in all, a great value. Would buy again.
I’ve been playing guitar for 20 years. I have never broke a string while changing them. I went through 3 packs of strings, and am not able to get a full set on. The nut has a lot of grooves worn in, this may be the cause. I want a response. I would like to send it to a local guitar center luthier to have it reset, and for you guys to flip the bill for it. I sent an email yesterday but have not received a response.
