Just got mine today. Beyond thrilled! Looks and sounds as good as guitars three times the price! Craftsmanship is on point. What a find, thanks Orangewood!
I lead Worship at church and I also play at different Celebrate Recovery meetings and my local Gospel Mission. I got my first Orangewood guitar a couple of years back. It was an Oliver Cedar. At that time there was not an option to get an Orangewood guitar with electronics. When I got the Oliver Cedar I was so impressed with it that I put a K& K pickup system in it and it has been my Go To guitar ever since. And, yes, I do have some Martins and also some Taylors, but the play-ability of these Orangewood guitars is something to be played to be believed. When it was time to get a new guitar I never doubted it would be a new Orangewood! This time I took full advantage of the offerings by Orangewood and decided to get the Brooklyn Live Limited Edition. Yet again Orangewood was up to the task in every category! The fit and finish, attention to detail and Fishman Electronics is the complete package! I take two guitars with me when I play out. They are both Orangewood!! My main instrument is my Brooklyn Live and my back-up is my Oliver Cedar. My Martins and Taylors are now up for sale. BOTTOM LINE: You will NOT be disappointed when you purchase an Orangewood instrument!
I had been eyeing up the Orangewood guitars for awhile and wanted to add a grand concert to my collection so when the limited edition Brooklyn became available it was a no brainer. This is by far the most inexpensive guitar in my collection but what I saved in money I did not sacrifice in quality. The feel and sound of this guitar is on par with instruments 3x it’s price. Whenever I start playing this guitar I don’t want to put it down. The Brooklyn live has become one of my favorite acoustic guitars to play plugged into an amp as well.
Just took mine out of the box & played her plugged in & unplugged... Sounds great!!! Guitar was ready to play right out of the box. $495.00... Are you kidding me? Great craftsmanship for the price. I'm very glad I took the chance on Orangewood guitars!!! Taking my "Brooke" with me too good tonight on a few songs. Can't wait for my students to see her!!! Thanks!!!
