Brooklyn Live - Pleased

I wanted to confirm receipt of my new Orangewood Brooklyn Live guitar and let you know how pleased I am with this purchase.

Firstly, I was pleased with the packaging. The thick corrugated box had no dents. The die-cut insert held the neck in place. No damage! I was very pleased with the quality of the gig bag. I was expecting a thin nylon "dust cover." Instead, the gig bag is padded! It has zippered compartments for storing accessories. The outside dual zippers are of high quality. Because the two things noted above were my first impressions of my new Orangewood purchase, I can't stress enough how taking care in package design and providing a quality gig bag set the tone for increased expectations with respect to liking the actual musical instrument purchased. Kudos to your entire team responsible for these features.

As for the guitar... wow! I know its not your most expensive option, but it is now the favorite guitar in my small collection. I don't know how you managed it, but only the D-string was out of tune. 5 out of 6! Awesome! The ease of play and the tone are wonderful. Chords sound rich and full. On my other acoustic guitars, there always one string or more that seems to be at a higher volume. Your guitar doesn't perform that way. I don't play great. I don't even play well - yet. But, after my first session on my new Brooklyn Live, I sound a lot better than I did before. I actually enjoyed practicing. I could hardly believe I was making the music filling the room.

In conclusion, I wish to offer my sincerest appreciation for your efforts in making this fine instrument available. It will be cherished.

Thank you for your detailed review, Daniel!

Pleasant surprise

I stumbled across Orangewood guitars through YouTube. After watching several reviews and demos, I decided to give it a try. The quality was evident the moment I opened the great gig bag. The setup was perfect, the fit and finish are that of a guitar three times the price, and the playability is effortless. I was blown away by the sound. All the strings ring true. I’m already thinking about adding another model. This, coming from someone who owns 2 Martins, a Taylor, and a Breedlove. The Brooklyn Live has become my daily player.
