Overall Happy

First the cons. The Sage Mahogany is nearly a $700 guitar. So I look at this guitars flaws more critically than I would, say, my $200 Fender. There are 3 frets that are slightly lifted at the edge of the fretboard, as well as a small hairline crack at the bottom of the neck, where it meets the body. Both of these issues aren’t a deal breaker, but they are faults that I’d be surprised to find on big name brand guitars.
The Pros- the guitar tone is wonderful. The tuners also do a wonderful job at keeping the guitar in tune. I can play for hours without adjusting a single string. The action is a bit high, but I actually prefer this, as it prevents fret buzz. The hard case that comes with this guitar is very nice, and I’d feel perfectly fine with throwing my guitar off a mountain as long as it was in this case. All in all, I’d buy from Orangewood again. The important thing to note, is that the issues I found could easily be avoided at an actual store, so there is always a certain gamble one takes with buying online. Which is why I’m actually took the time to write this.

It’s easy and comfortable to play, sounds great, and holds it tune. Wonderful instrument. Very happy with my purchase. Many thanks to Orangewood for putting out such a great product.

Sage Mahogany - Almost Perfect

I like it. Crisp, bright, and clear tone. Looks nice - any cosmetic imperfections not noticeable to me. All-mahogany a different tone-flavor from my other spruce top acoustic - and a bit more fun. Thank you!
